Recycled polyester for the interior.

The padding of our elves is made of recycled polyester (RPET) , made from recycled plastic bottles, which:

  • Prevents plastic from finishing in the oceans or discharges

  • Uses 59% less energy for its production compared to the virgin polyester

  • Decreases oil dependence

Sometimes we reuse directly from the polyester intended for the trash, with a neighboring company . We are therefore inspired by the principles of the circular economy and reusing waste from another company as a raw material.

"The use of recycled polyester decreases our dependence on petroleum as a source of raw materials," explains the website of the outdoor clothing brand, Patagonia. Known to make fleece from used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste and worn clothes. “This reduces discharges, thus extending the lifespan of discharges and reducing toxic emissions from the incinerators. This also helps to promote new recycling flows for polyester clothing that is no longer portable, ”adds the brand.
