Our history

I introduce myself, my name is Fabiola or Faby for friends. The idea of making doggies, sculptures, to say better, elves, small magical and imaginary beings, came a little for the art of magic :).

Throughout my life, the wools were very present. When I was little, everyone around me knitted or croche. Yes, my grandmothers, my mother (but a little less) and also my father, who even paid part of his studies by knitting. My grandmother and my great-aunt had knitting machines and obviously their needles and hooks. So they were able to knit a little of everything. For me, with my child's eyes, it was pure magic.

A little later

When I arrived at my university studies , I had the chance to share my time again with my pretty grandmothers. I'm always going to remember the afternoons when I came back from the university. I settled down to knit with my big and beautiful accompanists: Mi Abuela and my great-aunt.

How these beautiful moments will always accompany me!

Love and respect for our beautiful nature have always been there. I have always been involved in all school projects related to the environment. My university research , on the other hand, was linked to the founding myths of our culture (always intrinsic to respect for our Mother Earth ). I have always had a lifestyle in harmony with nature, living zero waste (even before the term exists). In short, love to nature flows into my veins.

Love and respect for our beautiful nature

The marriage between a story of the sons and my love to nature was accentuated when the arrival of two magical little beings in my life. With their arrival, the desire to crochet was born again. I had the desire that my coconuts play with toys full of love, without danger for them and respecting their planet. This is the birth of these magical elves who inhabit our fantastic bestiary.

This is how in 2017 Forest Pixie was born.

Our biggest dreams:

- That children can play with healthy elves.

- that our doggies are ecologically responsible.

- that we can plant trees in Quebec together.

- Create healthy, responsible, sustainable companions and with a minimal environmental impact.

These imaginary beings have always accompanied my daily life. They enchanted my life even before I share my life with my children. The elves have always been there. They mean for me the importance of the imaginary world.

Forest

Each elf materializes by mixing imagination, magic, respect for environment , cotton and hook.

And thank you to this magic, these elves accomplish their most important task: to share their love for nature and imagination. They become faithful companions, dream protectors, guides of magical moments.
