Our pixies are great confidants, everyday charmers. They help us get a good night's sleep, guide our dreams and inspire us to be kind. Their presence reminds us that magic can be found in simple gestures and shared smiles. pixies also protect their owners: they're pixies, so they know the magical world inside out :)

How are our pixies made?

Each Forest Pixie sculpture is quietly hand crafted by Fabiola in our Mont-Saint-Hilaire workshop.

The first step is to find the idea that will inspire our Pixie. Either an animal or an element of nature.

Once we have our Pixie in mind, we choose its color from our high-quality, responsible cotton yarns.

We start creating our Pixie from head to toe. 

Each Pixie has its own personality. That's why our Pixie 's face is carefully crafted. We choose her eyes, her nose... we're receptive to the new birth.

No two pixies are identical. Even if you choose to materialize an animal several times, they will have distinctive features and elements.

 This is how Pixie de Forêt's fantastic bestiary is nourished day after day. With characters as unique as each child who accompanies her. 

Like all original works, our pixies are protected by copyright.

Our plush are signed Métiers d'art, a guarantee of quality.

What about the care?

Our pixies love to take showers.

You can wash it in the washing machine in cold water.

However, our pixies are afraid of the dryer. They prefer to take a little nap to dry off.

And the eyes and nose?

The pixies that have plastic eyes

- They are fastened with a rivet. They are commonly referred to as safety eyes.

- The nose shares the same characteristics.

Named safety eyes are fastened securely with a rivet. Even if they are very securely fixed, no one can guarantee their total solidity.

I don't recommend leaving children under 3 unsupervised with our little sculptures, to avoid the risk of choking. Adult supervision is always invaluable.

For smaller children who want to enjoy the company of our sculptures, we have forest pixies with embroidered eyes and noses.

  • Yes, we get a lot out of making your dreams come true. All you have to do is fill in the form with all the information. :)

  • The inhabitants of our bestiary are made from responsible #8 cotton, a tried-and-tested, highly durable cotton. The thickness of the cotton means that the stitches are very tight, guaranteeing durability. Our pixies are quietly handmade, using a no. 2.75 hook.

    Cotton manufactured by Omega, a company founded in 1948. 

    The cotton we use is sustainably produced, and no chemicals are used in the dyeing process.

    • The padding is hypoallergenic.

    • Top-quality polyester from recycled fibers. To find out more about recycled polyester, click here.

    • Polyfil by Fairfieldworld

    • 100% premium polyester fiber.

    • Superior resilience and soft consistency.

    However, we're looking for upholstery that's more respectful of the planet. 

  • Preparation of the Pixie usually takes 1-3 days in our workshop. Tracking information will be provided on your shipping confirmation email once the order has been shipped.

    We deliver anywhere in Canada by express and registered mail. However, we are not responsible for Canada Post delays.

    As we are a carbon-neutral company, all our mailings are also calculated. Your plush has a minimal footprint.

    We always choose a carbon-neutral shipment.

    Pick-up option directly at our workshop, or at our drop-off point in Montreal.

  • The Pixie takes 1 to 3 days to prepare in our workshop.

    We deliver with express and registered mail. However, delivery times depend on the country of destination.

    We use the services of Canada Post. They have partnerships with postal services in other countries.

    GHG emissions are calculated for each shipment. Your plush has a minimal footprint. We are proudly Carbon Neutral.

    Any customs and import taxes are to be paid by the buyer.

    Pixie de Forêt is not responsible for customs delays.
